Fernanda de la Puente

Fernanda is the founder of Asana Groove Yoga Studio in Madrid, an 800-hour Jivamukti Yoga teacher, Eating Psychology Coach, and actress. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, she has been practicing yoga since 2005.

After studying in California, Fernanda spent eight years in New York, where she taught Jivamukti Yoga before relocating to Madrid. She completed her 300-hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training in 2014, followed by a year-long mentorship with Rima Rabbath, which earned her the 800-hour Jivamukti Yoga certification in New York City. Since then, she has taught extensively in New York and led retreats around the world.

Now based in Madrid, Fernanda leads the Asana Groove Yoga Studio, where she shares her passion for yoga through classes that are dynamic, joyful, and deeply intentional. Her teaching blends graceful yet vigorous vinyasa sequencing with skillful hands-on assists, insightful dharma teachings, shaking practices, and movement meditation.

Known for her thoughtful curation of music and sound, Fernanda often collaborates with DJs, live musicians, and sound therapists to create immersive, multisensory experiences that inspire students to move, connect, and transform.
