What are Sound Meditation Sessions Like?

In these sessions, you're invited to simply lie down, receive, and let go. The experience is not active like traditional yoga classes — it’s meditative and therapeutic. Clara creates a subtle soundscape using high-vibration instruments that resonate deeply within the body’s cells and energy systems.

Here’s what you can expect:

A safe and supportive environment to fully relax and restore

Exposure to healing sound frequencies that mimic Theta and Delta brainwave states (similar to deep meditation or sleep)

Gentle guidance into a state of non-doing, where the body naturally enters repair and recalibration

Your Sound Meditation Guide

Clara Alfaro is a certified psychologist (since 2000) and an experienced sound healer with a rich, multidisciplinary background in vibrational therapy. Her journey into the healing power of sound began in 2018 with training under Vikrampal Singh, and continued with advanced studies in 2020 with Don Conreaux — a direct disciple of Yogi Bhajan and a global pioneer in the use of gongs for healing.

In that same year, Clara also trained with Abby del Sol and Tom Soltron, musicians and co-creators of the renowned Tone of Life sound healing approach. Her latest training was in 2021 with Jacomina Kistemaker, the first Tibetan bowl sound therapist in Spain and a trailblazer in the European sound healing community.

Clara brings not just technical mastery, but deep presence, sensitivity, and intuition to every session. Her offerings blend science, spirit, and sound into a unique, powerful meditative experience.

  • No. This is a fully passive experience. You’ll lie down (usually with a blanket and eye pillow) and allow the sound vibrations to work on your body and mind.

  • Clara uses a combination of gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes, and other sacred sound tools — all carefully selected for their therapeutic qualities.

  • Reported benefits include improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety, emotional release, enhanced mental clarity, and a deeper sense of peace. It also supports nervous system regulation and cellular regeneration.

  • Yes — it’s gentle, inclusive, and non-invasive. If you’re sensitive to sound or have specific conditions (e.g. epilepsy, pregnancy), please let us know in advance so we can adapt the session for your comfort.

  •  You can cancel up to 4 hours before the start of the session and your class credit will be refunded. If you cancel within less than 4 hours, the credit is lost. We do not issue refunds.
